Writing is therapy. A creative outlet and a way to get to know the world, and myself, that little bit better.
PR helps others to do the same, by sharing stories and allowing people to make connections – which is why I’m proud to play a part in that too.
I’m a freelance writer, published author, PR and marketing consultant and mental health campaigner – with over 15 years’ experience working with the media. I’m especially passionate about mental health, society, education and the arts.
As a writer, I was a columnist with Sarah Millican’s Standard Issue magazine, and I’ve also written for Metro UK, NME, Red Magazine, The I Paper, The Independent, Den of Geek and Huff Post.
My first book, A Series of Unfortunate Stereotypes – naming and shaming mental health stigmas – was published by charitable mental health publisher Trigger Publishing in 2018. My novel, The Twenty Seven Club, published in 2021.
